This Privacy Policy explains how Ameena AI, Inc. ("Ameena AI," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with the Ameena.ai website, web application, AI agents, integrations, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
Ameena AI is a business-to-business platform intended for companies and their authorized personnel. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that Ameena AI processes in its own capacity in connection with accounts, website use, product operations, support, analytics, and similar activities. It also explains, at a high level, how the Service processes information provided by or on behalf of business customers.
Customers may choose to connect supported third-party platforms and services to the Service, including customer relationship management, marketing, website, analytics, advertising, and similar business tools. Available integrations may change over time. When a customer connects an integration, Ameena AI may receive data from that service according to the permissions authorized by the customer.
Customers affirmatively authorize integrations using their own accounts or credentials and may disconnect supported integrations through the Service. Disconnecting stops future syncing and deletes stored connection credentials from Ameena AI's systems. Previously imported data may remain in the customer's Ameena.ai account unless separately deleted.
Some internal product-usage events are stored in pseudonymized form using a one-way cryptographic hash rather than the customer's actual organization identifier. These records contain event types and timestamps, not customer content or conversation text.
Paid subscriptions are enabled, payments are processed by Stripe. Ameena AI does not store full payment-card details. We may receive limited billing information from Stripe, such as plan tier, billing status or history, and limited card information such as the last four digits.
Ameena AI uses session cookies necessary for authentication and currently uses Google Analytics 4 ("GA4") for standard pageview analytics. Ameena AI does not currently use session-recording tools, advertising pixels, Google Signals, remarketing, or advertising-personalization features in connection with GA4.
We may update our analytics or cookie practices as the Service evolves. If we introduce additional tracking technologies, we will update this Privacy Policy and implement any consent mechanism required by applicable law.
Ameena AI uses and supports third-party AI and model-processing providers to provide AI-powered features. Supported providers may include Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, and other providers that Ameena AI may add, replace, or support over time. Depending on the applicable feature or subscription tier, AI processing may occur through a provider selected by Ameena AI or through a third-party AI model or provider connected by the customer using the customer's own API key, account, or credentials (a "Customer-Selected Model").
Information transmitted for AI processing may include organization knowledge-base information, company information, ideal-customer-profile information, brand voice, competitors, conversation messages, prompts, images, and other content submitted through the Service.
Third-party AI providers may process, retain, or use information submitted for AI processing in accordance with the applicable provider's commercial terms, privacy commitments, account settings, data-processing terms, and policies. Ameena AI configures provider accounts and integrations based on its then-current business and technical requirements, but provider practices may change over time.
Where a customer connects a Customer-Selected Model or other supported AI provider using the customer's own API key, account, or credentials, the applicable provider's data retention, privacy, security, and model-training practices may depend on the customer's own provider account and configuration.
Ameena AI may add, replace, or support other AI providers in the future. We will update our disclosures when material changes to our AI-processing practices require it.
Ameena AI does not currently use customer content to train or fine-tune models for cross-customer use. This restriction applies to Ameena AI's own use of customer content and does not control the independent data practices of a third-party AI provider selected or configured by a customer.
Customer content is maintained separately by customer tenant and is not combined across customers for cross-customer model training or customer-facing benchmarking.
Ameena AI may use de-identified or pseudonymized product-usage event data for internal analytics and product decisions. Current internal analytics may include event-type counts and timestamps associated with a one-way hashed organization identifier. These internal analytics do not include customer content, company data, or conversation text.
We may disclose personal information and customer information to the following categories of recipients as necessary to provide and operate the Service:
Ameena AI does not sell personal information. Ameena AI also does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or use personal information for targeted advertising through third-party advertising networks.
Ameena AI's production database and customer data are currently hosted on third-party infrastructure located in the United States.
Ameena AI currently targets customers in North America. If Ameena AI expands into the United Kingdom, European Union, or other jurisdictions in the future, additional privacy terms, notices, contractual safeguards, or data-processing agreements may become applicable.
Ameena AI retains personal information and customer data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain the applicable customer account, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect security.
A customer may request deletion of personal information or customer/account data by contacting Ameena AI at support@ameena.ai. Automated customer-facing deletion functionality is not currently available, and deletion requests are handled through Ameena AI's available operational processes. Ameena AI does not currently promise a fixed deletion period and will process valid deletion requests in accordance with applicable legal requirements and then-current technical capabilities.
Disconnecting an integration deletes stored connection credentials and stops future syncing, but previously imported data may remain in the Ameena.ai account unless separately deleted.
Ameena AI uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. These measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, authentication measures, and protections for stored credentials and integration tokens, as appropriate to the nature of the information and the Service.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Ameena AI cannot guarantee absolute security.
Ameena AI, Inc. is a Delaware corporation. Because Ameena AI conducts business from California and may process personal information relating to California residents, California privacy laws may apply depending on the nature and scale of Ameena AI's processing and applicable statutory requirements. Where applicable, California residents may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, and information about the processing of personal information.
Ameena AI does not sell personal information and does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Requests regarding personal information may be submitted to support@ameena.ai. Ameena AI may need to verify the identity and authority of the requester before completing a request.
Certain information may be exempt from deletion or other requests where retention or processing is permitted or required by law.
This Privacy Policy does not create rights that are not otherwise provided by applicable law.
In some circumstances, Ameena AI processes personal information contained in data provided or connected by a business customer for that customer's own business purposes. The customer determines what information it submits or connects and is responsible for having appropriate rights and permissions to provide that information.
Where Ameena AI processes personal information solely on behalf of a customer, individuals may need to direct requests concerning that information to the relevant customer. Enterprise customers may require a separate data-processing agreement or other privacy terms, which may be addressed separately.
The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children or persons under 18. Customers must not intentionally submit personal information about children unless Ameena AI has expressly approved the relevant use case in writing and all applicable legal requirements are satisfied.
The Service is not designed to receive highly sensitive or specially regulated personal information unless expressly agreed for a particular use case. Customers should not submit Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, regulated health information, financial account credentials, full payment-card data, passwords, API keys, or authentication secrets other than credentials intentionally provided for supported integrations or Customer-Selected Models, information concerning children, or other sensitive information not reasonably necessary for the Service.
Ameena AI does not currently scan all customer content for sensitive information, so customers are responsible for complying with these restrictions.
Ameena AI may send transactional or service-related communications, such as account verification, password reset, welcome, security, billing, and support messages. Ameena AI does not currently send general marketing or promotional email campaigns.
If Ameena AI begins sending marketing communications, recipients will be provided with any opt-out mechanism required by applicable law.
Ameena AI may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements, technology, vendors, or data practices. The updated version will state its effective date. If changes are material, Ameena AI may provide additional notice through the Service, by email, or by another appropriate method.
